Hi, I'm Sarah

I’m an embodiment coach, campaigner, intersectional feminist and improv comedy performer.

I spent almost a decade of my life struggling with anxiety, O.C.D and panic attacks.

Although I was successful in my academic and work life, I found relationships difficult, and no matter where I was in life I never felt like I could relax.

My hyperactive mind was always on the lookout for the next danger, the next problem and the next thing that might go wrong.

In my late twenties I decided that enough was enough. I wasn’t going to let my mind control me any longer, and I stumbled upon embodiment work. Although I had meditated and practised yoga for years, this felt entirely different.

In just a few weeks I was already amazed by the change I felt in myself.

Four years later I feel more clear, confident and content than I ever have in my life.

I use the skills of embodiment daily, and I’ve seen my life transform as I learned how to truly trust myself for the first time.

Outside of my business I work part-time as a campaigner, and I’ve spent years involved with campaigns around feminism, the environment and education.

As an activist I believe that embodiment work is the work of these times.

When we return to our bodies we gain access to wisdom and strength that we never before believed possible.

And that’s exactly what we need in a world that’s facing so many different crises.

My Values

Acceptance

You will be accepted and appreciated for who you are and exactly where you are at right now. You don’t need to prove yourself to be here, or fit into someone else’s mould. You are invited to be your full self and share all parts of yourself - including the messy, murky parts you normally hide away.

Celebration

The world needs more celebration and I love finding any excuse to celebrate. When you work with me, not only will you be celebrated for who you are, but we will celebrate your journey every part of the way, until celebrating yourself feels like second nature.

Boldness

The best part of developing solid self trust and confidence is that it allows you to start taking risks you never believed you were capable of. This work will make you bolder and that’s where all the fun happens.

Quality

I want you to have the highest quality coaching experience possible. This means that I’m constantly practising my skills, refining my materials and improving your experience. It also means that we focus on the quality of your results over the quantity of work you do. Most of the women who come to me have already been working far too hard and they are exhausted! This isn’t about doing more, it’s about taking the right steps and stepping out of the struggle.

Interconnection and reciprocity

Everything is connected. Even if we focus our attention on one area of your life, you’ll start to see shifts in all parts. We look at global, structural systems of oppression, just as much as your own unique, individual lived experience. It’s all part of the same tapestry.

This value also speaks to my ethos as a coach. This is not a hierarchy but rather a connection of shared experience. You bring with you the expertise of who you are as a person and I bring my expertise as a coach and embodiment practitioner. Together we travel towards a shared goal.
